Position Description:

The Department of Classical and Modern Languages invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer teaching positions to teach language courses in Arabic, Chinese, Classics, French, German, Japanese, or Spanish or courses on world culture taught in English, based on qualifications.

Qualifications:

18 hours of graduate coursework in the discipline or a related field, near-native proficiency, at least one semester of classroom teaching experience and excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications include skill in providing quality instruction and support to a diverse student body and ability to use different learning technologies to enhance student learning.

Applicants must apply on-line and attach a document containing a current vita, transcripts (official transcripts required prior to employment), and names and contact information of at least three references who can speak to teaching qualifications. Review of applications will begin upon receipt and continue until the positions are filled.
